UTS 2010 Graduate Design Exhibition

The UTS School of Design has an international reputation for delivering some of the most respected and innovative design courses in Australia.

Graduates from all four design courses: Fashion and Textiles, Industrial Design, Visual Communication and Interior Design go on to be leaders in design in Australia and abroad.

The show attracts thousands of visitors annually and provides a rare opportunity to see the work of tomorrow's leading designers, illustrators, filmmakers, artists and animators.

UTS 2010 Graduate Design Exhibition

This main event, which coincides with the VIP/media event on Opening night attracts 5000+ people, this includes media, industry, friends and family of the students, guests from other leading design faculties / institutes, and the general public – all there to wander the expansive exhibition, which showcases over 200 graduating students’ major work from each of the disciplines, shown over three floors of the UTS Tower Building.

The exhibition is a dynamic environment displaying 3D models and prototypes, the extensive use of digital screens, custom built display stands, and installations creating an interactive and professional multi-sensory event.

Following the opening night, the exhibition continues for two weeks and is open to the general public, including touring school groups from all over New South Wales, and industry guests back to collect details of students and their work.

The Theatrette, located on level 4 of the UTS tower building, is a compilation of student work from Visual Communication and Master of Animation. This show reel will commence playing on Opening Night and continue for the duration of the 2 week exhibition.
