Interior Design:
Interior Design is an evolving discipline that celebrates multiplicity in design approaches, responding to social practices and evoking spatial experiences that improve the way we live, work and play. For over 30 years the Interior Design Course at UTS has been regarded highly by the profession and has gained an outstanding reputation internationally and within Australia. The course is practice based with a strong professional focus, encouraging students to be independent learners and critical thinkers. Through applied research students explore design possibilities, creatively, innovatively and strategically, preparing students for a diverse range of employment opportunities. Graduates may choose careers in areas such as corporate design, hospitality design, residential design, retail design and strategies while others will choose careers in exhibition design, lighting and furniture design, design journalism, film and theatre design.
